Do you have children? Every child in Flanders is entitled to a Groeipakket. It’s a package of financial benefits tailored to each child in each family and contributes towards the cost of raising children.
The Groeipakket varies from child to child. The amount you receive depends on your specific situation.

Administratief onthaal (Administration reception desk)
After filling in the form for residence requests for Ukrainian citizens you will automatically receive an invitation for the administration reception desk.

How does Welzijnspunt help?
Refugees from Ukraine can be informed through:
- information sessions ‘Welcome in Antwerp’
- a personal appointment with a guidance counsellor about:
- registering your child for a school
- registering for Dutch courses for adults
- personal guidance about residing and living in Antwerp, studying, working, hobbies and important organisations in Antwerp.
Guidance is provided by Atlas, integratie & inburgering Antwerpen and Centrum Algemeen Welzijnswerk (CAW) Antwerp.

People who have temporary protection in Belgium can join a health insurance fund. It is up to you to choose a health insurance fund. You are entitled to increased reimbursements.
